Tasha's DIY Garden Design

I started DIY Garden Designer in 2014, sharing my search for design inspiration, my passion for creating award winning gardens, my quest to uncover the secrets behind gardens that fill us with delight and to showcase the amazing talent of landscape designers from all over the world. As gardeners reached out to me for help in creating the garden of their dreams, I turned to my degree and my years of garden design experience, to break down the complicated world of design and horticulture, so that gardeners with differing levels of experience could create beautiful, thriving gardens. You can find a number of e-books and published articles on the web page, to help you in your gardening journey, as well as interactive, practical online gardening and garden design courses. Come join me, let’s reconnect with nature and create a healthier, happier, more beautiful world!

I'm so excited, counting down the days to Leon Kluge’s plant safari’s which will air from the 22 nd of Feb on peoples weather channel (Dstv channel 180) Leon says that "the first 8 part series is filmed in the Fynbos, all the way from tsitsikama to cape point, I look at some of the most interesting fynbos plants and relationships with their pollinators and with other plants, survival techniques and interesting tales showcasing their hidden personalities."

A brand new year and time for a new water feature in the garden. Slot fountains are visually dramatic and a great way to draw attention away from unwanted noises in the area.

Christmas waves a magic hand over the world, all is suddenly beautiful, a reminder of Taylor Caldwell wise words: "And that, of course, is the message of Christmas. We are never alone. Not when the night is darkest, the wind coldest, the world seemingly most indifferent..." Wishing you all a joyful Christmas!
